Helping people feel at home in the hobby.

Next Level RPG is led by a professional tabletop RPG educator with years of experience teaching players of all ages.

Lessons are designed to make unfamiliar ideas understandable and useful. Instead of assuming prior knowledge or burying learners in jargon, each course focuses on the decisions people actually make at the table.

The goal is simple: make RPGs easier to learn, easier to teach, and more fun to play together.

Teaching philosophy

Three values guide every lesson.

01

Respect

Role-playing is never an excuse for rude, inappropriate, or exclusionary behavior. Every learner deserves a table where they feel safe and welcome.

02

Teamwork

RPGs are collaborative by design. Great play comes from listening, sharing the spotlight, and solving problems together.

03

Shared imagination

Every player’s ideas matter. Creativity is a strength, and the most memorable stories are built together.

Common questions

A little less mystery.

What is a tabletop RPG?

It’s a collaborative game where players make characters, describe what they do, roll dice when outcomes are uncertain, and create a story together with a Game Master.

Do I need any experience?

No. The courses are designed to welcome beginners and explain ideas in plain language.

Are these courses only for families?

No. Families are welcome, but so are individuals, adult beginners, educators, community leaders, and experienced players developing new skills.

Will there be more courses and live games?

Yes. Additional RPG systems, live sessions, and guided experiences are in development.
